Sheel has experience in general corporate advisory, corporate restructuring, corporate governance and secretarial compliances and M&A for Indian as well as Foreign clients.
She has advised several reputed foreign companies on investing in India and also helped many clients set up legal entities in India and maintain a robust corporate governance framework.
Her work also includes undertaking legal due diligence, company incorporations, structuring and restructuring advisory, compliance advisory, assistance with M&A transactions, drafting and reviewing of corporate documents, filing of applications with various statutory authorities under corporate, foreign exchange and securities law, and providing secretarial services on retainership.
Sheel has completed her law degree from Mumbai University and is also a practicing company secretary from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). She has also completed a course on Certified CSR Professional conducted by ICSI. Prior to BTG Legal, Sheel was a CS Consultant (In house) at Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail Limited where she also assisted with regulatory compliances requirements under the listing regulations.
