Laxmi has experience in general corporate advisory, M&A for Indian as well as international clients, infrastructure projects, and other related real estate transactions. She has advised several reputed foreign companies on investing in India.
Laxmi’s work also includes assisting with the structuring of M&A transactions as well as preparing and negotiating related documentation and advising on real estate transactions, data protection laws, voluntary liquidation, and foreign exchange laws. She has also been involved in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating real estate and project contracts (including redevelopment agreements, permanent accommodation agreements, conveyance deeds, lease deeds, concession agreements, project financing, and EPC contracts), and other commercial contracts such as master service agreements, service level agreements, software licenses, software end-user license agreements, and software development agreements. Laxmi has also assisted clients in drafting privacy policies, disclaimers, and website terms so as to ensure compliance with Indian laws.
Laxmi has completed her B.A. (Psychology) from St. Xaviers College, Mumbai, and her law degree from Government Law College, Mumbai University.
